Class Description
Tap/Ballet Combo
The tap/ballet combination classes are for ages 3-6. These child friendly 1-hour classes introduce the dance fundamentals helping students develop body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, coordination and confidence in ballet, tap, creative movement and tumbling.
Ballet
The student follows traditional structure of barre work, adage, pirouettes, and allegro. Ballet training stimulates grace, poise and technique in correct body placement. Ballet provides the best foundation for all forms of dance.
Lyrical
A combination of ballet and jazz portraying expressionistic feelings through lyrics and music. In addition to lyrical, ballet class is encouraged so each dancer will have the balanced component for this form of dance.
Jazz
Fun and free form of dance which includes warm-up, barre work, progressions and combinations. All students studying jazz are encouraged to take ballet.
Tap
Rhythmic dance, teaching timing and balance.
Musical Theater
Broadway style class which introduces students to acting skills, improvisation, and very stylized choreography. This is our most popular class.
Hip Hop/Street Jazz
The latest styles and trends in dance set to the latest music. From breakdancing to pop and lock moves, this is a high energy class that the kids love. We also offer a boys only class.
Leaps & Turns
This class is designed to improve the technical skills of all dancers. This class will improve the technical execution of a dancer's turns and leaps.
Clogging
This class is a fun and exciting class that teaches rhytm and timing.

Class Placement
All Students will be placed in classes according to age, ability, and experience. Teachers will place all students in the level of class that they feel is right for your child. Invisions Dance Company members are chosen by a teacher's recommendation or by audition only.
